The number of uninsured drivers is rising alarmingly causing threat to the UK roads. The drivers driving on road uninsured are rising, and it is extremely worrying factor for the safety of UK roads. If you remain uninsured then you might face thousands of pounds in liability and your driving license will get a conviction six points on it.
Around 16% of the drivers drove the car when they were not even insured thereby increasing the risk for other drivers on road. Out of those who admitted no insurance, 27% do not even know that it is compulsory to have insurance before driving.

Drunken driving by teenagers could turn out to be a costly affair for the entire family especially if all members are listed on a single auto insurance policy.
The rates will go up even if a teenaged kid is caught driving under influence, states Bill Martin, Senior Vice President at Farmers Insurance.

Road users are having to pay more and more for their driving! The fuel price will increase by 29 cents a litre on Wednesday.
The diesel price is also going up by 16 cents a litre from next week.
The increases come as new figures show that Producer Price Inflation, the increase in prices at the factory gate, has risen.
New figures released on Thursday show that PPI was 7.3 percent year on year in March, up from 6.7 percent in February.
PPI measures the average changes in prices received by domestic producers.
Economist Chris Hart said this will lead to higher food prices.

Chicago Toyota announced on Thursday that it is recalling more than 300 000 sport utility vehicles in the United States to fix faulty airbag sensors.
The automaker said the sensors which are designed to detect vehicle roll angle can malfunction and inadvertently cause the side curtain airbag and seatbelt to be activated.
The sensor malfunction does not prevent the airbag from deploying during a collision, Toyota said in a statement.
A Toyota spokesperson said the Japanese automaker has received defect-related reports of “minor injuries, including a report of a persons hand being cut by a seatbelt in March”.
The recall affects 214 000 RAV4 vehicles and 94 000 Highlander and Highlander HV vehicles from the 2007 and 2008 model years. Sa
